Chartford Homes Acquires 1.5-Acre Development Site in Burley in Wharfedale

Chartford Homes has taken possession of a significant 1.5-acre development site in the sought-after village of Burley in Wharfedale near Ilkley. This historic site, previously owned by development company MMR Estates, was marketed by Dacres Commercial.

The location of the site, just off the Burley bypass and a short walk from the centre of Burley in Wharfedale, offers a rural area overlooking the River Wharfe and the countryside beyond. This picturesque setting, combined with the village's excellent schools, railway station, local amenities, and surrounding countryside, makes it an attractive place to live.

Chartford Homes, known for its next-level craftsmanship, attention to detail, and experience in creating inspiring new neighborhoods, plans to start work on the development immediately. Their high-quality finish will complement MMR Estates' sympathetic redevelopment of the historic Greenholme Mills.

The entire Greenholme Mills estate is being fully redeveloped, with the former mill buildings already being transformed into unique apartments. The new homes within the development, expected to be released for sale towards the end of this year, will include luxurious, three and four bedroom homes and six contemporary affordable apartments.

Matthew Brear, senior associate at Dacres Commercial, has commented on the sale of the site to Chartford Homes. He expressed his pleasure over the sale, highlighting the company's quality work. For details about MMR Estates' apartments, contact Patrick McCutcheon at Dacre, Son & Hartley's Ilkley office on 01943 600655. For further information about Chartford Homes' new houses, contact Paul Wilson at Dacre, Son & Hartley's Ilkley office on the same number.

Greenholme Mills, located next to the River Wharfe, operated as a successful textile mill from 1790 until 1967. The sale of the site to Chartford Homes follows a strategically targeted marketing campaign by Dacres Commercial. Dacres Commercial operates from an office network that covers Leeds city centre, Ilkley, Skipton, Keighley, Harrogate, and Otley.

The development in Burley in Wharfedale is yet another testament to Chartford Homes' commitment to creating inspiring new neighborhoods. With its focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, the company is set to deliver another successful project in this picturesque village.
